I receive numerous emails and phone
calls from working professionals who are ready to make a
career move. They are tired of working in a
corporate environment and want something better. Others
are bored in their current job and need an exciting,
creative outlet. Still others are just looking to get
back in the work environment on a part-time basis doing
what they love.
What is
your story? What are you looking for?
No matter what your goal, if you
are a dedicated and determined individual with a passion
for decorating, then a career in Home Staging and
Interior Redesign will be easy for you.
The great news is that you won’t have to invest in
your life savings or go back to college to pursue a
decorating career in
Home Staging
or Interior Redesign.
The Home Stagers Guild offers a 4-day (weekend) course
that is feasible, exciting and packed with loads of
information to help you launch your new career.
Upon completion you will receive a certificate as a
professional home stager and interior redesigner.
You will become a member of the “The
Home Stagers Guild” a professional
organization that trains and supports other staging
professionals. You’ll be presented with templates to
create your marketing materials and collateral
(including the HSG trade logo).
Best of all, you’ll receive a step-by-step,
start-up procedures guide and will know exactly how to
effectively market your new business so you can hit the
ground running. Here is just some of the things you
will learn:
- How to tap into your
creativity to
make money doing what you love.
- Start up your business-
we give you the tools and templates.
- Learn how to market,
promote and grow your business.
- Fundamentals of Interior
Decorating-
as it pertains to Home Staging. Students
receive both classroom theory and hands-on-training in
the following areas; principles of interior decorating,
elements of redesign, how to select color, how to read a
room and create themes, accessory and art placement,
merchandising and much more!
- Business Fundamentals-You’ll
learn about marketing strategies, advertising, public
relations, public speaking and other marketing tips to
operate a successful home staging business.
- Each student will also conduct a
Verbal Home Staging
Consultation and
participate in a
Full Home Staging Project.
- Incorporate systems
to handle growth and keep you at the top of
your game.

This seminar was “more” than I expected!
Par excellent! The ideas, concepts and
program content in this training were
invaluable! Can you put a price on
preparedness? I walked in with some
reservations about what I would learn, and
walked out a confident woman, fully prepared

 Over
the past 15 years Melanie Serra was
often
approached about training and mentoring others.
After all, there were many other
stagers and redesigners jumping at the opportunity to
teach…why wasn’t she? For Melanie it was simple….it was
